2011 is our 31st year in purebred dogs ..hhhmm I am getting old!.

Krystal my daughter and Number 1 handler!

In 1980 we started with Dachshunds and moved on to Rhodesian Ridgebacks in 85 and added Pharaohs to our family in 93,  we have now had Whippets for 11 years with my daughter Krystal (Nabihah) having great success , we also have 2 Salukis and a couple of Toy Dogs. We also own  horse's - Straight Egyptian Arabs, Miniature Horse's, cats - Maine Coon & Moggies, and a goat .

At Skiska we have learned that breeding true to type functional Hounds is the only way to protect breed type, we do what others claim to do. We have imported dogs & semen too help keep true breed type, our love and hard work has rewarded us with over 40 Champions and 4 Grand Champions (Bred or Owned) being only 1 of  2 breeders (of  RR's & PH's ) in this country that are not Judge's to have done this.

Our dogs win on their merits and have done this while being handled by many people, I wish to thank  Krystal Lewis (my daughter aged 22 years), for her help over the years

All our dogs are HD and Elbow x-rayed and Graded by Prof Wyburn in Western Australia (Willis System and the AVA approved system). Our dogs do not need to be regraded in overseas countries because we have faith in our own system and have done for over 20 years, for we are honest and we accept the scores our dogs are given be it good or bad .

Most of all our hounds love family life.......
